This is something that I don't wish would happen, just so Dr. Love doesn't sound like a douche bag, but, if it does, I'm here for you. You know who you are.

Just another day in Utah...

Okay. I woke up this morning and, yet again, its snowing. Not just little tiny flakes, these suckers are about the size of a pea. We got 3 inches over night. And I'll be damned if it don't keep snowing all day.

So, anyone that is out there driving and they see my blog, shame on you, you shouldn't be reading this and driving, so please put the laptop down and drive, but drive carefully.

Cold Cold Cold

It was 13 degrees outside last night. It was snowing when I went to bed, and when I woke up - get this? IT WAS STILL SNOWING!!! It finally stopped somewhere around ten o'clock, and at 1:30 this afternoon, it started snowing again. I guess my wish for a white Christmas is coming true. I like the snow, but i can really do without the 45 mph winds and close to sub-zero temperatures. I mean, afterall, we're not the Arctic Circle, are we? But, all in all, it is alright. It reminds me of when I was a little kid at Christmas time. Mom, my brother and I would be out playing in the snow while dad was snowblowing the driveway, and sometimes, "just" sometimes, the occasional snowball might cross dad's path. But, it makes me sad that society is too wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of the work week, that we don't even have time to make a snowball. It kinda sickens me, I miss those times. Coming home from school, taking my boots off and having my mommy make me a cup of hot cocoa. My challenge to myself and everyone else is to take time this Christmas to play in the snow, make a snowman, and for you football fans, tackle the snowman. What I'm saying is to spend some time together as a family.
Yes, Dr. Love DOES have a soft side.

Colder than a....

So, I woke up at 6 this morning to blowing wind. It was 14, 14 frigging degrees, and with the 45 mph wind, the chill factor makes it about 25 below!!! I did NOT sign up for cold weather like this...So, I have decided to give you people, my lovely readers, an assignment, should you choose to accept it. The assignment is the compare the cold to something really cold, making the really cold item seem warmer than the temperature outside now...Southern states, and all points south of St. George, you suck with your warm temperatures in December...lol jk

Yet another post...

I know this is three posts in a day, but, I saw this cartoon and it reminded me of my soon-to-be married brother, and a very embarrassing situation that may occur at the wedding. Hey LD, it'll be fine.

What play are we runnin again?

Another reason why the selection process of college athletes is NOT perfect.

My very first blog...

Well, If you are reading this, thank you for taking the time to skim over my random thoughts. To understand them, you first have to understand me and where I come from.

My name is David, but everyone calls me Dave and you can't call me David, it drives me up a wall. I, quite like my brother, Lokidude, am a Redneck, but, I am a different kind of redneck, he claimed me as being and I quote "He's more of the 'cowboy hat, twangy country, bad mustache' breed. He's also embodied the famous last words of "Hey, watch this!" And he's a big showoff for the ladies." And, you know what? I TOTALLY AGREE!!! I can't help it if I am the example of high-tech redneck. Thus, my name for my blog, HEY Y'ALL WATCH THIS! I am a moderately opinionated individual - if you talk bad about my mom, dog or god, you better be ready to bleed. I believe that all people are responsible for their own actions. I don't justify verifying ones "manhood" by buying the latest and greatest toy...I believe that money should be spent wisely and be spent on the "need to's" before the "want to's." Although, sometimes I do slip up and buy a "toy". I believe that women should be treated as queens and not be taken for granted, I also do believe, however that a man and woman should share the duties of the home.

I would like to let you know that I do welcome criticism. I said criticism, NOT douchebaggery. Drama will not be allowed on my blog unless it involves a guy chattin' with a skull, men in tights dancin' around like fairies and women in dresses that turn mosquito bites into grapefruits.

Keep on truckin'

P.S.

Please realize that some posts on here may be rank, racy, and sometimes crude. I apologize in advance for this, but do realize that YOU clicked on it, and YOU decided to read it, so please don't whine at me if you don't like the way I worded something.
